Proverbs 16:3 instructs us to “Commit your work to the LORD, and your plans will be established.” ESV
The amplified version says “Commit your works to the LORD [submit and trust them to Him], And your plans will succeed [if you respond to His will and guidance].”
These words are appropriate for our first post as the goal is to motivate and encourage you via our Motivational Mondays Posts. Ever find you start your day and well laid plans just reel out of control? Ad hoc meetings, fires to out, personal issues arising and you don’t know which to tackle first? Fast and furious the problems keep coming. What started out to be a good day goes downhill fast. Your gifts, talent, knowledge, experience don’t stand a chance with Mr. Murphy. But, commit your work to God and all things work together for good – for them that love Him.
Just as you would share your plans and intentions with a friend, parent or mentor. Open your heart, lift your faith and share them with God and you will find your work (in obedience) will be according to the will of God, that leads to success if you trust His guidance.
